USAHS awards this scholarship in recognition of outstanding academic achievement. These scholarship funds are applied to tuition and fees only.
PT applicants for the 2023 Summer term at any of our five campuses may apply for a $25,000 scholarship, to be awarded in equal trimester-based increments throughout the program.
Scholarships are awarded to entering students who best meet the following criteria:
- Preferred minimum of 3.5 GPA on program prerequisites
- A short (500–1000 word) essay summarizing your academic experiences
- Only scholarship applications where a student has started and/or completed their PTCAS application will be considered.
To retain an Outstanding Academic Achievement Scholarship, a recipient must:
- Remain a full-time student in good standing in the applicable degree program. Scholarships are not transferable to any other University degree program.
- Remain enrolled in all courses in the established curricular pathway for the applicable program. Withdrawing from a course would remove a student from the established curricular pathway, causing them to be ineligible for the scholarship for the subsequent trimester.
- Earn a minimum of a 3.5 GPA at the end of each trimester.
Any scholarship recipient who does not meet these requirements will be ineligible for the scholarship award for the subsequent trimester. The scholarship would be reinstated the following term if the student again meets the requirements.
